Freedom and what does that look like.
Freedom
- the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.
- absence of subjection to foreign domination or despotic government 1.
Freedom is a fragile thing and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. And those in world history who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again. Ronald Reagan 33rd Governor – Republican 2.
Buy Land, they’re not making it anymore. Mark Twain 3.
The Canadian dream to buy land is still strong. Many people would like that option but unfortunately, they are allowing society’s distractions to take their focus. With high inflation and the pressures on the economy people feel that they are not able to save as much, and they feel that, this is an unattainable dream. When something is important, we all need to give up something.
- Time will need to be dedicated.
- Money will need to be diverted.
- Focus attention on your dream or desire of property ownership.
- Action in the plans made towards those with additional Choices needed to support the above 3 points.
Something will need to be sacrificed for the freedom of owning your piece of land.
The option to work towards purchasing a piece of land to have your home to raise your family is it important and is that freedom?
When you can start and set aside your 5% plus it will allow you the freedom of a choice.
To start and build your future. Not the mansion but something. When you scrape and save you can obtain a piece of your property. Sure, in most cases this is a starter condo or a small property that you could purchase in a rural area. In most cases you will have shelter a roof, running water and heat. We can choose to push on politicians to legislate policy that will support your wanting to purchase something affordable. Choices that many people in the world would kill for. There are options and choices to start you on your path to home ownership. There are certain freedoms in Canada where others may not have access. It is still a freedom that deserves your time and attention.
When you put your money down in partnership with a Lenders you will have some freedom and control over your life. You can choose to build from there and grow your assets. This will not give you total control but more control than when you are forced to live under someone else’s roof or rules.
So, freedom and what that looks like is very specific to each person.
