Nick Talib

Nick Talib is the CEO/Principal Broker for Lend At Ease Inc. since May 2012.

For the last 20 years, Nick has been in the industry representing all aspects of the financial sector. He spent more than a decade of his career working for a lender specializing in Compliance.

In 2008, he joined a National Mortgage Brokerage as Head of their National Compliance Team working closely with all the regulatory bodies across Canada. Nick’s industry experience and ability to communicate in English and French has laid the foundation for his past successes and groomed his skills for this future challenge; In 2010, Nick joined the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), where he gained essential experience with the regulator for the Mortgage Brokerage Industry.

Nick is a current professor at CMBA and was a former professor at MPC (CAAMP) where he taught the mortgage broker, mortgage agent and re-licensing courses. As a member of the National Ethics Committee organized by MPC, Nick is a valued member of the mortgage industry; many entities within our industry seek his assistance in making their process and companies compliant with the regulatory requirements.

Nick is a member of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee hand orchestrated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) whereas he was selected amongst members to represent our mortgage industry on many aspects of our sector.

In 2020, Nick was recognized as the top 100 Canadian Professionals by the Top 100 Magazine along with winning the Professional Ethics Award voted by the members of the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association (CMBA).
