Joe took his first credit application as a finance manager working at a major Lower Mainland auto dealership. This was back in the day when fax machines and dot matrix printers were still the way. A passion for real estate and a chance meeting with a future mortgage mogul led Joe to become a licensed mortgage broker in 2006, just in time for the financial crisis of 2007–2008. Never one to back down from a challenge, Joe stuck it out and is now a key member of a multi-award winning mortgage team.

One thing that sets Joe apart is his willingness to share his own real estate successes and failures. Whether pre-sale condos or townhouses, new construction, self-builds, rental properties, unwanted special condo assessments, do-it-yourself renovations or the hire-a-professional kind; Joe has personally experienced them all. Go ahead, ask him about it any of it, or all of it. For Joe, helping others with their own real estate adventures is the most rewarding part of his job.

Outside of the office, Joe is an avid photographer and can be found combing the beaches or kayaking the waters on the Sunshine Coast where he lives with his wife and three dogs.
