You did it! Any age is a great age to start. You may think you are old and Frankley most people at some time think that they are old. Remember:

• It is always relative to the others around you.
• And the other option …
  • you could be pushing up Daisy’s.

No matter the stage of life, regardless of your age or what you have done other points to remember are:

• Each one of us has lived some unbelievable things.
• We all have had many experiences while we have lived.
• Good and Bad to various degrees.
• And you make a difference in your life and the lives of the people around you.

One thing you need to do is recognize that you have so much to offer others.

I recommend is you write a “You did it!” list.

1. Survived both elementary and high school alive.
2. not addicted to substances
3. Paid bills consistently (at one point that was not always so)
4. Never arrested.
5. Bought my 1^st home as a single mom with 2 children under 4.
6. Volunteered and ran events for various charities, non-profits, and churches. Encouraged others.
7. ….

When you have moments of feeling down or are comparing your perceived weaknesses to other peoples perceived strengths. Review that list and recognize that you have something to offer each person. Some hope and sometimes, your willingness to share your successes or failures … life stories will help encourage others and help them to realize that they are not alone, and they have or can do something.

You did it! Start writing your accomplishments today.
